IWRT is growing with many wineries having formally requested to join the group and another 13 that will currently participate as exhibitors at the stand in EXPO MILANO 2015. A total of 39 wineries, offering 64 wines for tasting, are united by the technical guidance of wine-maker Riccardo Cotarella, the inspiration behind this group participation, and represent a cross-section of the Italian wine-making industry which sees research as a essential prerequisite for producing quality wines whilst respecting the environment.

Besides the “premium” wines, the ITALIAN WINE RESEARCH TEAM stand will also offer mainstream quality products that is, wines made from varying wine-making areas, grape varieties and production techniques which demonstrate the true appeal of Italian wines on international markets.
