Presentation of Wines produced by 24 member wine producers of the Wine Research Team

Twenty-six wineries presented in style in Rome to showcase the results of the Wine Research Team. WRT is a purely scientific process in which all the processes necessary to improve the quality of wine, from the vineyard to the cellars, were identified.

WRT is a revolutionary project that will be presented at 5pm during the Round Table. The work was supported by eight years of research carried out by Riccardo Cotarella, acclaimed wine-maker and coordinator of the project, together with food technician Fabio Mencarelli, climatologist Riccardo Valentini and biologist Cesare Catelli. The former three all belonging to the Department for innovation in organic, agricultural and forestry systems at the Università della Tuscia.

The essence of the spirit that unites the 26 wineries following the Wine Research Team Process is described on the back labels of the wines produced using those processes.

Please take the honour to evaluate the results of the research by tasting the wines without added sulphates that were produced by the 26 wineries presented (bearing in mind that in the meantime a similar number has also started producing wines according to the WRT process, again under the technical guidance of Riccardo Cotarella).
